Teaching Teens
A Silent Cry for Help:
Identifying Warning Signs in our Teenaged Students (7.5 or 15 Clock
Hours)
This course will give teachers common warning signs to help them
identify when students may need help with issues outside the
classroom. It will cover such issues as abuse, drug and alcohol
abuse, eating disorders, homelessness, and depression. Teachers will
also understand what channels to follow to facilitate getting help
for troubled students.
